Our varsity pulled away with a 30-10 victory over Del Norte. The defense dominated again, giving up a total of 85 yards to the Nighthawks. Jack Fine led the way with two of our five sacks and six tackles.
On the offensive side of the ball Quarterback Luke Durkin threw for 202 yds with a touchdown pass to Rashad Griffin Jr. (5 catches, 89 yds, 1 TD) Durkin completed passes to five different receivers in the game. Running back Nicholas Gardinera rushed for 134 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Falcons and kicker Matt Killam kicked a 33 yd field.
JV beat Del Norte 37 -14 and our freshmen played their first game and walked away with a 13-0 victory.
