I've had an opportunity to communicate with Christian's mother, Liza. She has asked that we share information about Christian's services with the #FalconFootballFamily, past and present. If you are available, and comfortable attending, we'd like as many players and families to be their for the Soriano family.

JERSEY DISTRIBUTION
We will meet at the high school on Saturday, April 30th at 10 am to distribute jerseys for past and present players.
To Our Players and Families, Past and Present:
The loss of a family member is unthinkable. Losing a dedicated, hard working, well-liked, kind soul like Christian Soriano reminds us all that the smile on the outside can disguise the challenges our family members face on the inside.
We sat down with the current team and talked. We talked about the grieving process and how different it can be for everyone. Feelings of anger, sadness, guilt, helplessness all the way to indifference or no feeling at all describe the array of emotions people feel after the death of a family member. We also talked about self-care, warning signs, and the people and resources that are available to them and to anyone they are concerned about.
It was a difficult, but necessary discussion, supported by three of our five of our counselors, Vice Principal Hines and a grief counselor from the district. We were honest, supportive and vulnerable, as this isn't something we ever imagined discussing, but it was important.
I want you to know this goes for EVERYONE IN THE #FALCONFOOTBALLFAMILY!
