FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The only mandatory cost is a $20 AAU Membership. Details and our Club Code will be provided as soon as they are available.
Q: Are the workouts mandatory?
A: Let me answer it this way: Should students study for finals?
Our returning athletes understand that summer is critical for learning our systems—offense, defense, and special teams—and for getting physically prepared. These workouts are not casual gym sessions. They are structured and intense, designed to meet the demands of a football season.
When an athlete misses, they fall behind. Less preparation means fewer opportunities—at every level.
More importantly, our program is built to teach student-athletes how to thrive. We focus on core values like:
Hard Work
Commitment
Discipline
Accountability
Resilience
Competing with Purpose
Learning to Win
This isn’t about chasing NFL dreams—it’s about developing better students and young adults. Success requires more, so we expect more.
Each year, our biggest obstacle isn’t effort—it’s availability. Vacations, family events, and birthdays often take priority, unintentionally sending the message that commitment is optional. It’s not.
The good news? When parents support the standard, we can use football as a tool to build character. And we do. That’s the foundation of our success—on the field and, more importantly, in the classroom.
Q: Are summer workouts mandatory for incoming freshmen?
A: We understand many families plan vacations and trips well in advance—often before knowing the expectations of our program. We don’t expect incoming freshmen to cancel those plans. However, it’s important that all families understand the role summer plays in the development of our athletes and the culture of our team.
Summer workouts are where our athletes begin to build the foundation—mentally, physically, and emotionally—for the season ahead. They learn our system, improve their strength and conditioning, and start to internalize the values that define our program:
While summer participation may not be mandatory for incoming freshmen, it is strongly encouraged. Those who attend consistently enter the season more prepared, more confident, and more connected with the team.
For returning players, expectations shift.
Attendance becomes a critical part of being part of this program, and for varsity athletes, it is not optional. Each missed workout is a missed opportunity to improve, compete, and earn trust—both from coaches and teammates.
Our ask of you as a new family to the program:
Communicate early and often if your student will miss.
Understand that consistent attendance builds habits that lead to success, both on and off the field.
Know that we’re not preparing athletes for the NFL—we’re preparing them for life. And that starts with showing up.
We’re excited to welcome your family to our football program and to partner with you in helping your student-athlete become the best version of themselves.
